Koromas gundogs are owned and trained by Paul Owens, with the aim of producing dogs that are pleasing to watch. Irrespective of whether they are picking up or competing in field trials.

His experience with training gundogs spans a number of years. Initially working with HPR breeds and then more recently Labradors. In this period he has won numerous awards in working tests and field trials.

The kennels are based in County Durham, with access to a broad range of training grounds from woods to moor land. The training of young dogs starts with play and progresses to a more formal system. Finallythe dogs complete their schooling in the shooting field on mixed game.

However as the years pass and I've trained more, I realise - "Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance." (confucius) .
